Tidal Wave Auto Spa | Car Wash

The Site Lead made signing up so simple. The staff has amazing attention to detail. I signed up for the premium-most package simply because I saw the first attendant scrubbing the windshields and back windows of the cars in line. Other car washes don’t do that and these areas of the car are notoriously missed. The inside was pristine (compared to other car washes that are mildewy). The staff clearly take pride in what they’re doing: knowledgeable, friendly, thorough. I’ll be signing up my other car very shortly

7/22/26.I was not impressed with the customer service, wash or with the vacuum cleaners. I paid for the package with the tire shine. When I asked the attendant (tall Caucasian kid) if that was what the tire shine should look like, he touched the tire and said "yeah it's on there". I said "that tire looks like it did when I came in". The young man said I can give you some tire shine in the bottle. I waited 15 minutes. I then walked over from the vacuums to him and asked about the tire shine he said "did you need some"? I said you offered it. He then went into the office and came back out 5 minutes later, with a bottle with that had so little liquid in it that the fluid would not pump out of the bottle. That's how you treat customers? I took the other two company vehicles to Tiger Wash up on 29.

I liked this place. The wash was colorful. It was only 15 dollars. There was even an attendant so i didnt need to reach up and open the door to pay for it. Someone came out after and asked if they could take pictures for quality control. They were so kind it kind of made my whole day! The vaccums were well stocked as well and very ascessable. I will come here again soon!

Yes I would like to give a good review for 2 guys that work at the spa in Charlottesville Va. Christian and Mike are definitely in my opinion 2 of the best employees for this company that I have had the pleasure to meet. Always willing to help in a very kind manner. Always working their tails off when I am here. Also in my opinion in the world we live in today its hard to find employees that are great people persons and always treat me with a ton of respect. Its obvious to me that they take pride in their work and always willing to help in any manner. They were raised on good morals and values that is also obvious when I visit. I will close with this. If I owned Tidal Wave I would do whatever I had to do within reason to keep the guys on my team. Because in the long run you will definitely be glad that you did!! Sincerely; James Koontz (J.R.)

Went for my first car wash at Tidal Wave today. I have been doing some highway driving and specifically wanted the bugs washed from my grill. The gentleman that took payment was very polite and told me they would scrub them off before the machine. Paid $30 and went through. Someone did scrub, but after going through the machine and checking out the job I found just about all the bugs still on there. Went back through asking for some resolution as the car wasn't cleaned well at all. Whatever manager was onsite said they would do a better job scrubbing and I could go through again but would need to pay the $30 again. Crazy. I asked for him to come out so we could discuss it. He came out and jumped right into cleaning the grill by hand. He said "just needed a lil elbow grease" and gave me a thumbs up. I pulled around to check and I guess he was all outta elbow grease because it was still dirty. There was still bird poop on the hood after all was said and done. So to make a short story long, this place sucks. Didn't clean the car, didn't fix the situation, didn't offer a refund, etc. Everyone is better off paying $10 at the self wash and spraying it themselves instead of paying $30 + a
